The celebrated musician Matthew Houck, who is better known as Phosphorescent, has contributed a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Tomorrow Is A Long time” to a love song compilation, Sweetheart 2014, due for release on February 4, 2014.
Phosphorescent’s most recent album, Muchacho, topped Paste magazine’s list of the top albums for 2013, and the album was included in Stereogum’s best of 2013 list.
Below you can hear samples from Sweetheart 2014, including Phosphorescent’s “Tomorrow Is A Long time,” and I’ve included a 2010 live version performed by Phosphorescent at Café de la Danse in Paris). –
