Audio: Adult Swim Offer Free Giorgio Moroder Download, ‘Giorgio’s Theme’

Giorgio Moroder is working with Adult Swim, and as part of their free singles series, Adult Swim is offering this free track by Moroder.

It’s called “Giorgio’s Theme.”

Down load it here.

Plus there’s a cool video interview with Moroder at the Adult Swim site.

By the way you might want to check out the “True Love Scars” soundtrack playlist here. It’s the music that goes with the first two chapters of my novel.

Listen: Röyksopp Perfectly Encapsulate 2013 in Retro Single, ‘Twenty Thirteen’

Given the crazed attempts by Republicans to take us back to the Stone Age through legislative attacks on women, immigrants, the poor, the middle class, the environment, and I could go on, the Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp seem to have captured the mood of doom in their new single, “Twenty Thirteen.”

They describe the track as a “swinging summary of 2013 A.D.”

Listen: Burial Texts About New ‘Rival Dealers’ EP — ‘an angel’s spell to protect them’

Earlier this week Burial’s Rival Dealer EP was released and I posted all three tracks. This weekend, the mysterious audio collage artist provided Mary Anne Hobbs of BBC Radio 6 with a text message about the EP which she read on her show.

Burial wrote:

I put my heart into the new EP, I hope someone likes it. I wanted the tunes to be anti-bullying tunes that could maybe help someone to believe in themselves, to not be afraid, and to not give up, and to know that someone out there cares and is looking out for them. So it’s like an angel’s spell to protect them against the unkind people, the dark times, and the self-doubts.

In case you missed my previous Burial post, listen to the EP now:
