Today I’ve got their trailer for their new single, “Fuckers” / “Dream Baby Dream.”

It’s worth watching and hearing. Savages’ Jehnny Beth has plenty to say, and given the stage of things in the world right now, her message has never been more timely.

At the Classic Grand in Glascow last Sunday (November 10, 2013) Savages covered this classic by Suicide. The recording isn’t the greatest and the video is a bit dark but there’s an excitement in this performance. I love it.

This just released video finds Springsteen covering Suicide’s minimalist “Dream Baby Dream.” If I didn’t know Suicide’s version, I could take this for a Born To Run-era Springsteen song.
