Secret Of Banksy Philosophy Revealed

all1

So I was over at Banksy’s website this morning in search of info about what wall he’s turned into art on the fifth day of his month-long New York street art show, when I noticed the above quote.

Clearly, it explains not only why Banksy has called this exhibit, “Better Out Than In,” but, really, it explains Banksy’s philosophy regarding all the public art he’s done.

Right?

Meanwhile, since I haven’t yet found images of Day #5 — maybe he takes the weekend off? — below is a recap.

Banksy Triple Header For Day Four

On Day #4 of Banksy’s month-long street-art show on the New York streets, the artist has unveiled three art pieces that are located in Brooklyn. On his website the artist writes of this work: “Random graffiti given a Broadway makeover (an ongoing series).” The art is on walls in Delancey, Bushwick and Williamsburg, according to http://www.banksy.co.uk/.

The mysterious graffiti artist Banksy confirmed on his website today that a painting on a wall in New York’s Chinatown is the beginning of his month-long “residency,” “Better Out Than In.”

At Banksy’s website, it now says: “For the next month Banksy will be attempting to host an entire show on the streets of New York.

To enhance your enjoyment of the exhibits an audio guide is provided via cell phone. Simply call the number next to the painting and select the appropriate option on the keypad. This is a toll free service.”

Check out what you hear if you call that phone number:

And I dig it the most.
